HISTORY

Founded in 2016 by Carey Jensen, FallsCon is an annual tabletop gaming convention held in Wichita Falls, Texas that celebrates tabletop and video gaming. FallsCon is also a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to bring people together to create safe and inclusive communities, share the benefits of gaming, and support academic goals through financial aid.

Initially held at the Wichita Falls Country Club in 2016, FallsCon was held at the Center Pointe Event Center in 2017 & 2018. After an unfortunate off-year, FallsCon 2020 was held at French Country Meadow. Due to the Pandemic, FallsCon 21 was cancelled. The convention returned in 2022 and was graciously hosted at The Nexus Game Lounge. In 2023 the convention would move one more time to the Wichita Falls Multi-Purpose Event Center (MPEC) where it would have its largest turnout of over 400 attendees. That year was also the first year of FallsCon as a non-profit organization, giving away $400 in scholarships to deserving students attending Midwestern State University.

How do I get into FallsCon?

To get into the convention you need to purchase a badge valid for the day you're attending. We offer single day passes as well as weekend badges here.

To attend scheduled events, you'll need to get tickets for those events via our registration website. These tickets are typically free, and just serve as a way to reserve your place at the table to the selected event.

FallsCon 2024 is taking place on April 5-7, 2024. The convention opens at 2PM on Friday and closes each day at 11:59PM, except for Sunday when it closes at 5PM.

Yes. Fallscon is a family-friendly event and welcomes attendees of any age. Children twelve years and under are free when accompanied by an attending adult. Children 13 and above are subject to standard badge costs.
